about

Toxic relationships, broken trust, loneliness and the fear of being much more of a burden than he already is surrounds prchr. as he decides to swiftly set out and make his escape from the north end to the south end of his hometown, the Gold Coast, to reach the city airport and start a new life.

Every track is unique and set within a different suburb of the beachside metropolis, taking the listener through different emotions and vibes. How the first chapter in the prchr. saga ends, you will have to follow along with this listening experience to find out.

i would like the acknowledge the bundjalung and yugembah peoples as the traditional custodians of the lands on which my work is written, recorded and presented. i pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging. this was, is and always will be aboriginal land.

i’d like to thank everyone involved in helping bring my vision to life:

aiden ossovani, emily lee-joe, loz ellis, scot rose, thomas hayes, logan taylor, jig dubé, zane gillespie, jared adlam, blair condon, quinn qubé, bella paton, campbell harris, liam james and of course joe bon macphail.

i would also like to say a massive thank you for all the continued support and love from my family.

lastly, and certainly not least, i want to thank my followers. you are the sole reason of why i continue to write music and i am eternally grateful that we’ve found each other.
i hope through this you may not only find a better understanding of who i am, but that you also find sanctuary within the music if you need it. i love you all xx - p

prchr. (pronounced PERCHER) is a garage/blues alternative rocker hailing from the northern NSW/Gold Coast region. He takes inspiration from familiar modern rock artists and crafts his sound to initially please fans of the dirty, fuzzy tones and takes it a step further by splitting his guitar signal live in multiple directions to immerse his audience into the loud depths of his songwriting. ... more
